Call me selfish, but right now BFG has three good games that are only available in CE; and it seems to me it's time to release at least one of them in standard version. JMO

They release them in about 3 weeks from the original CE release date.

gatsbygirl, a CE is a collectors edition.

Chick: As anxious as I am to get a couple of these games, I do appreciate that the developers need to make a buck. I'll settle for one. This is the first I can recall that there were as many as 3 games in CE version waiting to be released in standard version. It's usually one at a time. On the other hand, it's good to see so many great games becoming available. Call me conflicted. crazy laugh

I agree. I'm just frustrated. With 3 that I want and all available at the same time and waiting 3 weeks is very hard. Tempation Vs Paitence.
Thanks BFG for 3 great games. Still pulling my hair. Let on go this week!!!!!!!

Since I am liking the Collector's Edition games more and more, I like this trend. I already have 2 of the current games and will get the third soon as I finish the game I'm playing now. Since casual games are getting more adventurous I'm happy to support them by buying the early CE's. I'm also happy that my game budget allows this!

To love is to be happy with!

Another CE was just announced by Mudrock on the Big Fish forums about an hour ago, presumably to be released this week:

Reincarnations: Uncover the Past

This is a sequel to last year's game, Reincarnations: Awakening.

No mention was made of the regular version of Echoes of the Past: Castle of Shadow, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we won't see it this week.

Agree. I don't want to compromise the quality of these games by selling them at the cheaper rate too soon... I am also awaiting some of them, but when I think of all the time, etc. that went into them... Yeh, I can wait. I did buy a few of them though. If I am financially able I do because they are definitely worth it. But when I'm strapped... I must wait.

I have to choose between my art supply budget and my game budget. Games are important for a rest of right brain activity, but painting is the potential money maker. Both have their place, but the art supply budget wins...I'll wait for the regular editions. smile

I child-proofed my home... but they're still getting in!

Thanks Ana. What comes with a CE version that doesn't come with the regular version?

Each one is different gatsbygirl. You have to read the description of the one you are interested in to see what that one includes. They do have a general addition of a built in strategy guide and artwork not otherwise seen.

Ana wave
