Please forgive me if this topic doesn't belong because this is not game related.
I have a web cam link so that I can see my Grandson two states away. I have continuous problems connecting and staying connected. Would anyone know what to do or know of a good web site to go to for advice? I am very grateful for your help!

I have continuous problems connecting and staying connected.

Can you describe the problem in a bit more detail? If you Google "Troubleshooting Webcam Issues" you'll find many links, but without knowing exactly what's happening - we'd just be guessing which applied.

Thank you for your time!
My browsers are google and yahoo.
I was sent a link via email to click and connect with axis-cam complete with passwords. I book marked the site and use the bookmark to connect.
It is great when I can stay connected.
While watching the web cam, I have to be diligent to see if the seconds stop ticking by . If they do, I tap the return key and the connection is "jarred" back into motion. I do click on streaming if that helps, I don't know.
There are times when the screen/site freezes and tapping the return key will not free it up. Then I have to shut down and restart because by then, my mouse may also be "frozen".
I tried axis... web site but can't seem to find where to get to some help.
If there is anything else I can add (computer info ?) please let me know, and thank you.

I'm not familiar with the site (or software) - but, it appears to be a security cam service. Is it possible that the software is recording the video and filling up your hard drive?

Lack of sufficient free space will definitely lead to problems.

Another approach would be using something like MSN Messenger, which provides web cam support.

The article below describes how to use the product -

How to have a video conversation with MSN Messenger

Try it and see if the issue persists.

I know very little about ... software recording the video and filling up hard drive ...
What I'm seeing is live/now - which I should have mentioned. I will look into MSN Messenger and thank you!
