I enjoyed the two recent Art of Murder adventures - Hunt for the Puppeteer and Cards of Destiny I haven't yet played the The Tree of Life from the Chronicles of Mystery series but I DID like its predecessor - The Scorpio Ritual And I also haven't yet played Lost Horizon but that is certainly getting very good reports

Josee, I think the suggestions of the Black Mirror games is a good one. venus has a great suggestion about Gray Matter since you are a Gabriel Knight.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Josee, I haven't quite finished Broken Mirror: Shadow of the Templars, Director's Cut yet but I've had a ball playing this game. I highly recommend it, especially since InlandAZ has already beaten me to Black Mirror 2. <g>
Btw, have you been to GOG.com and looked at their old, refurbished and DRM free adventure games? They've got goodies like Sanitarium and King's Quest 6 for download at really good prices.

Josee,
So far, I've bought and played Sanitarium, Gabriel Knight 1, King's Quest 6 and one other that I didn't like from GOG. All did fine on Windows 7.

Hi Josee Irrespective of which version bought from where, the very first thread on the Glitches, Bugs & Patches Board is dedicated to games and Windows 7 compatability. Cheers. Mad

Josee - I have played many many games as I am sure the nice folks on this site have too. As an adventure gamer from the Leisure Suit Larry days - I have gone to lengths to find good games. I have a couple suggestions for you..
1) Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman Mine - The narrator in the game and the situations will make you laugh aloud.
2) So Blonde - at first I said "nah" but I could not stop playing it when I got it. Great puzzles and a fun story.
These are just 2 of the last ones I recently played - they will be very memorable to me.
