After installing the subject game I got a virus error using Kaspersky Anti-Virus as follows:

Trojan Program:
Trojan-PSW.Win32.LdPinch.apwx

As I result I had to use the "clean" function of the antivirus program and am unable to install the game.

I sent an email to tech support for the game and am waiting for a reply.

Has anyone else seen an error like this?

Probably a false alarm.
Did you contact Kaspersky about it?

No, I haven't contacted Kaspersky.

The odd thing is I installed the game a couple of weeks ago (never really started playing it) and then two days ago I received the warning.

After I did the initial "clean" and the game was removed, I reinstalled it and got the trojan message at the very end of the installation again.

I get daily updates from Kaspersky and it looks like this is a relatively new trojan program warning that was just released.

I'll try to contact Kaspersky later today.

I suspect Jenny is correct and it's a false positive. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened with a game installation.
