Have placed dynamite on hatch, but cannot attach fuse cable----the inventory bar stays up, thereby being in the way. What to do?

If the inventory is blocking the way, it sounds as though you might need to adjust your screen resolution. You can do this from your Options at main menu. See if that helps at all. Let us know if not.
