I've been playing Oblivion with no problems-around 20 hours into the game. All of a sudden when fast traveling into another area the screen went black and sound continued.I went back to the desk top and the play screen again. Now when I press play, get error mssg:
"AppName:Oblivion.exe
ModVer:1.2.0.416
offset 00097e10"
"exception information
Code 0xc0000005

Does anyone know what this means?
Any help much appreciated! thanks

There are suggestions for a 0xc0000005 error in Oblivion here

One of the people in that thread suggested

Run the game again. If you carried any game settings over from a prevous OS install, making oblivion re-detect everything again helps in this area.

There's some great tweak FAQs at
