Beautiful, stunning envioronments;great sound and music; installs and runs fluidly (even on my 5-year old Dell PC).
Fun adventure so far!
Only minor quibbles IMO are some of the cloying Asian VOs,and the fact that you've got to keep the DVD in to play the game.
It's like playing an adventure game inside a beautiful cinematic cartoon. Details are astoundingly gorgeous and the cutscenes are firstrate.
A great game so far.

Hello I had an hiccup with the second one ,I recall being in this bazzar and some thing to do with a red ball .It was a long time ago and I never finished the game .Did all the others no probs .May have just been one of those things .They were one of the first games I ever played .I like how Lost Horizon did all the action parts for you .There is no going over doing the same part over and over again because you ar nt fast enough . wave

Oh, I see ....
Well that's a real shame, dragonuk44, because there is a huge amount still to play after the "red ball" scene. So I hope you manage to play the game again some day yes

Glad you seem to be enjoying Lost Horizon, anyway thumbsup

The voiceover that's annoying is that kid on the wharf. I'm still in Hong Kong, jumping through hoops (so to speak) because of that kid. lol Why do games seem to have such a hard time with kids' voices?

Hi Boomers, is there any way to stop the opening sequence to the game? Every time I go to play the game, from previously saved games, the opening sequence kicks in and I have to wait until the man in the funny hat dies in the cave! Thanks! wave

Bermag45 -- when you enter the menu screen (the theater facade) there's a load game window to the far left. That should let you bypass the "New game" opening. wave

You know when the game starts and you are looking at the out side of the theatre .On the walls at either side of the doors are posters .I think it is the far left one.Hope I have explained this right luck smile wave

My game visa card is all maxxed out now so I can't get the game yet. I had high hopes of winning a copy but alas no go. I am looking forward to getting it as a Christmas gift from a family member. From what I have read here at the boards I am in for a real treat.

I thought it was a fantastic game, they nailed so many little detail that tend to be overlooked in other games I've played in the last few years that really pulled me in to the spirit and joy of the adventure just like the old classics. A real winner in my book! Definitely worth the $20 download price!

I'm playing Lost Horizon at the moment and I agree that it is fantastic, the best adventure I've played in quite a while. I'm loving every minute. The graphics are absolutely beautiful.

This game really is fantastic and has a feel-good quality about it. I loved how it was actually an "adventurous" adventure game. Great characters, beautiful graphics and locations, good voice acting and an addictive storyline. I agree with others here; it is definitely one of the best games I've played in a while. thumbsup

I think that deep silver must have been listening to what we say here.
We don't like timed squences.
We don't like sliders,
We don't like trapsing back and forward through mazes.
We don't like having an inventory full of stuff that we have finished with.
I could go on but I think you have my drift

Has any one seen any little gray cells around as I think I've lost some? Reward for finder.

I like sliders, but not mazes and inventories that are realistic don't bother me. I agree with the old junk littering up the inventory OR they pull cars out of their 'front pockets'. That's where I draw the line.

Fantabulastic game! I just love it when I can pick up anything that isn't nailed down, and then sometimes I can unnail that too! lol This game is gorgeous, great storyline, and playing it reminded me of how many good games I have played way back in the past....like the Gabriel Knight games, Tex Murphy, Grim Fandango and on and on and on.....looking forward to #3 if I live long enough, God Willing. What fun!!!
Love, Betty Lou

Seem to be a lot of "don't likes" there !! [And I personally don't agree with all of them.]

In any case, maybe including a few "likes" would be more encouraging reading for any developers passing through ?? laugh

If anybody passed through and asked my opinion, I'd have to say that I truly wished there were more games like this one. It really seemed like "old times", which I guess means to me, super game!!!!!! Teddo
