LadyLinda OP Settled Boomer Joined: Nov 1999 Posts: 694 NYC, NY USA	My laptop which runs Windows XP can't read CD1, but has no problem with CD2. I don't think it's the CD since I can read it on my Win95 desktop. Any suggestions on getting the laptop to recognize it.

I wouldn't think so - make sure the disc is free of smudges and scratches, they can cause read errors.
