Just wondering if JEKYLL & HYDE PC that's for sale 0n interact (19.95) is the same one that's on adventure shop for 39.95. Thanks
Richard

I think I will buy it from Interact...Its a hard copy which is good....Plus some people are saying that there is no real action ..except for jumping from here to there...I assume you might die if you miss a jump...So maybe that's why they say its an Action/Adventure...

Before you buy....

This is the download game on Adventureshop
by" bit-composer games". It's not an action game and there is no combat (at least the first half)

http://bit-composer.com/www_en/game.aspx?gameid=956537ba-ca11-4911-ac26-8293f013a22a

The" Interact "version is by Dreamcatcher and it IS an action /combat game. Not the same game.

Thank You, jmdsmd1

I am so confused.. headscratch Why would the Adventure shop have the same box art as Dreamcatcher...Are these two box arts the same? ,but there is different types of game play from two different publishers...

The screenshots are the same also.. woozy

Me too.The Dreamcatcher version is available for purchase on Amazon.com with the same box art and screenshots but with an entirely different gameplay description than the one I'm playing . There are several different gameplay videos on youtube as well.
Maybe I'll order the Amazon version and I'll know for certain on Monday....

Hi Dar,did you order the game from Dave? I did and I don't know if I should cancel it or not. I'm not to keen on action games. What are you going to do. I don't know how two companies can have the same game but so different. Doesn't make sense to me

Richard, I think you should cancel it...

The Dreamcatcher version has a lot of fighting in it...I didn't order it....Just call Dave to cancel...

I am so confused about this whole thing...I wish we can get more answers to why the two games are different..

It is really very confusing the fact of these apparently different games having not just the same name but also same "cover" and screen-shots. All the reviews I found for the Dreamcatcher game are appalling even in HERE

Hi everyone,
Thought you'd like to know that I ordered Jekyll
& Hyde from Amazon ($19.99) and although online the box says "Dreamcatcher" the actual box says "Bit-composer " and "pixelcage " 2010" and "Adventure company"
AND IT IS THE SAME GAME as the Adventureshop download.( I stupidly downloaded the game from them first)
The box, however contains only the disc-no manual etc.
Hope this helps.

So jmdsmd1, is the one you ordered from amazon the same one that Dave at Interact is selling?

I am also curious to hear about the game first hand.

Hi all,
Well, Im not sure about the one at "Interact" but I can tell you that the rating on the Amazon purchase is "T" for "Teen" which is different than the cover on the Interact version.Maybe you could try asking Dave
I can't explain the big price difference but maybe Adventureshop is just taking advantage of the confusion...?
As far as gameplay ...it's exploration ,logical puzzles mostly playing as Dr Jekyll and making potions in the portable laboratory in order to switch to Mr. Hyde so that he can perform the difficult jumps and other activities. Now, the graphics are interesting as you can see the underground tunnels and the jumps from different angles. Don't be fooled-some of the climbing and jumping can be quite difficult. There's a considerable amount of timing and dexterity involved. If you fail to make the jump, you go back to the beginning of that puzzle. It can be very frustrating so I pick it up and put it down when it gets to be too much. There are only automatic saves so you must play until the next save or lose all your gameplay. It's a slow pced game, definitely.
I've had maybe 8 saves and I am still in the tunnels so I can't tell you about what's beyond that.
I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED!

Thanks jmdsmd1. I hope you are at least enjoying it (or will soon) even though it does sound frustrating. I don't like that it's only auto saves.

Thanks Jmdsmd1....I have little tolerance for games that don't let me save at will. But it sounds like it is keeping your interest. Thanks for keeping us informed. wave
