Here is an article on Adventure Classic Gaming that is sorta retrospective on Sierra's Quest for Glory. Unlike many other retrospectives that I had read, this one actually includes some new quotes from Corey Cole who created the series in the first place (strange... his wife did not speak in the interview).

There is even a brief mention of the fan based games based on the series from AGDI.

Waded my way through all that (thanks, DaveHT) but was disappointed to find, yet again, a lot of morbidity with regards to Adventure games.

I know they no longer command the huge sales of earlier years but I haven't yet - over the last 16 years at least - found myself in the position of not being able to buy a decent Adventure game.

So somebody, somewhere must still feel good about making them, AND, like us here at Gameboomers, playing them !! taz

I really miss the old Sierra games. frown

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

It's worth running an old computer (if you can pick one up) to be able to play them.
I still play them and lots of other favourite oldies on my most ancient machine yay

And, of course, GOG.Com are offering some "ready tweaked" to play on modern machines bravo
