Please give some more details. Where does the installation fail? The game should run on Win7.

After inserting the dvd, the installation process does not come onscreen. I check My Computer, click on the D drive, and see the AGON symbol, but when I click on setup, get only the notepad, and when I click on the gameline itself, the computer freezes up.

All suggestions appreciated.......

It sounds like you may have a bad DVD if Notepad is opening when you click the Setup. There should be both an autorun.inf and a Setup.exe file on the DVD. All the autorun does is start the Setup, but you can try right-clicking the autorun and choosing to Install from the context menu. If you have an antivirus running in the background, it could be blocking the install until it has fully scanned the DVD (which can take a while). You could also try rebooting the computer with the DVD in the drive and see if it works any better.

Thanks for the advice......tried everything, and still no go. Won't install on XP either. Bad CD, I guess.

That sounds very suspicious; setup should have an exe file extension. Is this the only executable that opens in notepad? If not, peruse and run the exe fix in the link below.

.EXE files always open with Notepad or any other application (XP link)

Edit - Here's a link for Vista and Windows 7 -

When you run an .exe file on a Windows V...fferent program

If you still have the problem:
Probably it is really a bad DVD. Try to contact the publisher's support, they should be able to help.
