Great Debra You might try and check if it goes back to default once in a while. Think mine did - but then just do it again - maybe a day before release day.

HI all!
I've been doing the pre-Cata events too, although just on 2 of my toons. I still haven't figured out the timing of the portals in SW and IF and go off to do other things.
Did anyone order the book? I'd really like to read it before Cata. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and spend the money, lol.

IF is helplessly bugged - they never spawn right.
And since noone answered I'm gonna move my Edit to here, lol.
Edit: Ok, so the new 4.03 patch is out and with it my Hunter is told to find Trainer for the Flight Master's License for flying in Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdom etc. - BUT, no trainer has it. I'm guessing it's because it won't be available before Cata - or have I missed something?

Hi ya Misslilo, and yes, you are correct. They aren't out yet, but players will need to purchase this for $250.00 gold (level 60 and up) to fly in Azeroth once Cata goes live. On the elemental incursions, they are on a 2 to 3 hour timer. Don't forget to que for the new dungeons when the city is successfully saved. (Level 80) The bosses drop item level 251 items.

Hi All: Did you know that today is The Shattering? Yup, it's today. We're all going to log in and we'll be dead. All of our toons are going to be at the graveyard near the largest city we were at. It's going to be something! I've been reading the stuff on MMO-Champion and there are a lot of changes today. Priests, pallies, druids and shammies will have their talents reset. They're changing stuff again with the healing. There are other changes too -- warlocks nerfed a bit, and some stuff with warriors. Since I don't have one I didn't pay much attention. Portals in Dal and Shat are gone now and replaced with class trainers. If you get a chance read up on the changes before going on. I'm going to have to do all my stuff this morning at home so I can get on and check things out. I'm hoping it's a little smoother than the last patch, but not to sure if it will be.

Ahhh, can't wait to get home and play I also read that the new Cinematic and music is awesome. Unfortunately I HAVE to do the daily Pilgrims quests every day to get the 50 Daily Quest achievement, so not that much time to play around today.

I've just played the new cinamatic twice, and it is awesome! I'm so excited. I've been logging in every now and then just to download the patch info so it's all there once the game is up.
I haven't been doing the Pilgrim quests. I have a boomkin that I was hoping to level before Dec. 7 so yesterday I worked a lot on her. I'm so tempted to create another lowbie right now, cause they say there are a lot of new quests available.
Decisions, decisions.

Dead....EEEK! No more portals.... double eeek...I wonder how I will get my low level characters out of Dal? Pilgrims is a great time to level your cooking to Grand Master...takes about 3 hours from 0 to 350. I have several I wanted to level but not this year...too much going on in real life. Sooooo much to do, so little time. I wonder how long I could go without sleep....thinking, thinking, thinking.....not very.

You sound so much like me Looney! I have three 80s that I actively play, and a 62 druid that I'm leveling. That doesn't count all the others that I'm not active on right now. Sigh. I guess you'll have to get a mage to port you out, or a warlock to summon you. I think one of my lower toons is in Dal right now. Hmm. They should at least have a one time taxi service to Borean Tundra so people can take the boat to SW. Hmm. Where do Horde people get their boats?

On the other hand, I keep threatening to level a mage on Draka (have one on BB)...this might be the time. I really hate losing those portals though...it made life much easier.

LOL L4L!! Wow! This is so exciting! L4L, maybe one of your sons could run the Pilgrims quests for you while you cook! It's only right since you're working so hard to feed them a delicious dinner! While I'm waiting for the realms to reopen, I am watching replays of the Dark Shadows show with Ben Cross as Barnabas. It's on Chiller channel. It's not the original soap which I loved, but it'll do. I was a big fan of that show in the 60's. Meanwhile, I'm holding my breath waitng...waiting.... Andrea

Well, I hope there's no delays today, since normal reopening for me is 8PM and I NEED to do my Pilgrims quests, lol.
But seeing how the earlier patches were delayed, I don't hold my breath.

Waahhhh! It's been extended to 1 pm pst. The only good thing about that is I can take a nap first. Sigh. I figured it wouldn't start on time, but 2 extra hours is a lot.

Good idea...I'll get one of the kids or hubby to WoW cook and while I really cook. I'm glad I was sooooo busy today. I'm heading off to see what has changed.

WOW, have to say I love the new improved graphic. And Stormwind looks absolutely beautiful Oh and I earned my very first Fish Award, lol So cool it's located right in the center of city. I got a few shocks on my tour around the town - the destroyed Park area, the new area below Dwarf district with the portals etc. I didn't have time to wander about too much, since it was already very late for me. But so far so good

Don't know about you, but I'm getting impatient - waiting for Cata. Can't seem to finish anything in game - just doing daylies.
