I haven't played much of the demo yet but thought I would mention the fact that, based upon what I have read so far about it from other players, it would be unwise to judge the entire game based upon the introductory tutorial section because you can be left with the impression that it's a little childlike and too easy--and apparently the game gets more challenging as it progresses. So, I am going to make sure that I give the game a fair trial.

It's certainly a beautiful game to look at and seems very polished.

I play the trial hour and bought the game, it is definitely not a child's game.

It's a delightful game with quirky characters and fun gameplay and lots of interaction and puzzles.

It has eleven long levels, I managed to finish the tutorial level and levels 1 and 2 in the first hour. So, I would say there are a few hours playing time here.

There is a walkthrough on Gamezebo, until Big Fish gets theirs up and running, and you will probably need the walkthrough.

Thanks for your thoughts, Flo. I have indeed also read that the game is quite lengthy. smile

I have a link to the blog walkthrough in my first post. It works just fine.

Hi Ana,

I see that your link works, but the link from the game site doesn't. It sends you to the Dec 31, 1969 page.

When their direct link doesn't worl, 99% of the time all you need to do is go to the blog and it'll be there.

Just finished about half the demo and used the game credit to get this one. I finished Sherlock the Hounds and Cursed House last night and this was a nice change of pace. Cute characters, lots of praise, nice bright clear graphics. Looks like others at the BFG forums are saying its a pretty good length. So a buy for me.

If you click on the word "Blog" on the right hand side of the page with the December 1969, it takes you to the blog page and the first entry is the walkthrough for this game. Just click "Read more". Sometimes we get those Dec 1969 things and not sure why. It is kinda a shock the first time it happens!

I guess I'm going to appear like an idiot again but I think this game is very hard. I cannot find the objects.

Now they want me to find a ladder... there is none in the scene and I can't find a way to move to another scene. Soooo I go to the walkthrough (already) and it says find a knife (N) Now am I going blind or what? Where is "N"???????

Not crazy about this game... I found it frustrating.

I have nothing in my inventory to use anywhere.

NYLady, I was having similar problems. Sometimes when you need to find something on the game screen, the item isn't necessarily there right away; instead, you have to use something from your inventory on something else on the game screen in order to get the item that you need. I was confused by this game too until I realized that it wasn't always just a straightforward matter of seek and find. At other times you have to look for something on the game screen that will help you solve a little puzzle that has been presented. Anyway, I agree that the game is not easy.

OK... I went to Zebo and they showed me where the knife was. Some objects are in the dark background...(However the knife was not.) So now I have the ladder and they want me to find pearls.... I can find the pearls but can't open them. It seems to be an arcade type solution to this and I am not good at that at all. I give up... not my type of puzzle.

This game is not for me. Only played 20 minutes and am terribly frustrated.

Really tried hard to like this game as I have 3 credits burning a hole in my pocket.

I enjoyed this one a lot - the characters made me laugh and it was a nice long game. I also liked the addition of restoring the village. I liked the upbeat feeling and the bright colors. Fun game rah
