Yes, yours, but I put them in my Hobbit folder in Documents and tested them in my game on Vista. They worked fine. I didn't send mine cause one was at the very beginning, the others in A Warm Welcome and lot's in Flies and Spiders. The only thing I can think of that would cause a problem is the numbering, but they could be renamed.

That's what I was wondering - I told Terry to make sure there weren't already any saves with the same number in his saves folder.

Here is a link to the folder screenshot on Photobucket so he can see what mine looks like, yours are numbered 43,44,45. He should check his first before moving them, I only had one so it didn't matter.

I'm in Chapter 4 of The Gamers Temple walkthrough, have fallen through the ground, killed all the little bouncy guys, got the three bags of pennies, killed more wolves and then are supposed to go to the walkway alongside the cliffs that gets blasted away then go through the cave - how do I get there please?

There are lots more than 3 bags of pennies in there! There are the 3 on the ledge, 2 in the rocks with the blue circles and more (I think) if you climb up the other rope and jump across to the gold chest.

But after you get what you want, kill the next wolves and the walkway gets blasted away, just turn to your left and run like the dickens down the passageway to the next section.

Thanks Draclvr, I've done all the things you mention several times, but the walkway doesn't get blasted away, I've turned to my left, ran like the dickens, but don't see the passageway! After all the bother I've caused you I'm embarrassed to ask yet again, but could you pretty please send me a save to get me past this?

This is her deer hunting weekend, should be back by Monday so hang in there. I don't have any saves in this area.

When you come out of the caves where you killed all the little bouncy guys, you have to jump down to kill a couple of more wolves. The stone giants are pelting you with boulders too. The walkway that gets blasted is a light colored piece of the walkway and you have to run over by it so the stone giants throw a boulder at you which (hopefully!) hits the light-colored piece of the walkway and not you.

Still can't get to the next section, so have uninstalled Hobbit once again, so if you have a save to get me past this in the future, thanks very much!

I don't understand why you keep uninstalling the game.

I don't either, corana... The game installation is working fine; it's just that this can be a difficult game.

After I did all the things I should have done as far as I'm aware, apart from opening the gold chest, K didn't work on it, went left outside as you mentioned, but didn't see the light-coloured piece of walkway.

Like I said, you have to jump down to the next area where you are attacked by wolves and pelted with boulders by the stone giants. The walkway is to the left down there.

Isn't there a save pedestal nearby? Just save before you jump so you don't have to repeat. I think he says something about not going back after the walkway collapses. My memory is foggy, it has been a couple of years since I did this area.

No save pedestal in this area. You jump down to kill a bunch of wolves and get the Stone Giants to throw a boulder close to the walkway.

Am now playing A Warm Welcome and am trying to switch platforms to get to the various doors. Is there an easy way to get to switch the platforms please?

Are you talking about the platforms in the water? If so, try this walkthrough - the part about the platforms is a little past halfway down. Hobbit Walkthrough There is definitely no "easy" way!! You will use your arrow keys for PC controls. Here's part of the walkthrough:

I am no help here cause this is where I am stuck. I was finally able to unlock the first door, but then a hard drive crash finiahed me off. Lucky I had my saves stored in Carbonite. One day I will master this part.
