I'm a little tired of all the horror and darkness games. Are there some out there that are good (no pun intended) but lighter?

Try Kaptain Krawe, it was great light hearted fun and the ending had me laughing out loud.

"Blue Madonna" in a couple of weeks... and the 6 previous games in MDNA's Carol Reed series.

I was going to suggest Kaptain Brawe and Ghost Pirates of Vooju and I hear a lot of people saying they really enjoyed Lost Horizon. luck

I strongly second Lost Horizon, So Blonde, The Whispered World and Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island.

Some other recommendations: the Runaway series, Ceville and Jack Keane. thumbsup A Vampyre Story is also good, though a little on the short side.

You have to try So Blonde and Lost Horizon!

So Blonde was a lot of fun - great humor - great artwork - funny story and characters - and it was a pretty long game too. Well worth the time and $$$

Same goes for Lost Horizon !

One more game had me laughing out loud that was also a great game - Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman Mine. The game has a commentator that was hilarious.

All of these I downloaded without issues.

The biggest problem is finding one which is "lighter" and which is not a cartoon. A lot of the Kheops games (other than Dracula) are like this. Possibly also Lost Horizon (though I haven't played it yet).

I have to agree Jenny100 that many of the lighter games tend to be in cartoon style - I never thought about that until you mentioned it! smile

I thought Yoomurjuks Ring was an excellent 'lighter' game that doesn't have a cartoon style but as far as I know it's only available as a download in English? smile

Yoomurjak's Ring is available as a digital download from The Adventure Shop with voices in Hungarian and subtitles in English (it's full motion video).
