I brushed off the ol' DS a little less than a week ago because this game strangley got my attention. 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors (999) is a recent adventure game/virtual novel that was released for Nintendo DS. I felt compelled after finishing all the different endings (6 in total) to bring awareness to this remarkable game.

Remember all those Flash room-escape games we played to kill hours of our day? Think of melding that concept with a tense plot that twists and turns while making you think as hard as you did while watching Inception. It's a tricky game to explain, so I'll have someone else do it for me.

Before getting this game, it initially reminded me of the Saw series (which I am not at all fond of) but after playing, it's completely different. It's a smart and enjoyable game with a great story.
