The door will open only after you talked to the crying woman.

Hi MaG..stuck..your WT..wonder why you didn't list the numbers for Staff Room. I get a 59621974 according to instructions. Am in Depot trying to
open Staff room. Tried these numbers many times,etc..nothing works. Do you know forward or backward for each number?..thanks,Chuck..

It's a random puzzle, Chuck.

Be sure that you do press the "enter" button after moveing the number under the arrow on top.

Be careful to not press the "reset" button.

No, Chuck.

You get the code for the lock as stated in the walkthrough from the clipboards.

There are 3 clipboards in that room.

At top left of that clipboard are 3 numbers - it will be the same for all 3 clipboards BUT some clipboard paper are smudge - so you check all 3 to deduce what those 3 #s are.That 3 #s are the station code.

Now to get the next 5 #s which is the stationmaster code - you again check all 3 clipboard.
This time look for the green Mail (dispatch) # which is the work done by the stationmaster
Again some of the clipboard #s are smudge - so deduce that 5 digits using the 3 clipboard.

Then you enter that 8 numbers in the dial.
Turn the dial to place a number under the top arrow - press enter.
Do this for all the numbers .

If done correctly, the door will open.

Again be careful to not touch the reset button.

I don't know the numbers for your solution - since it changes for each gamer. It is a random puzzle.

I looked for saved games - so far, I found my folder but I don't know what they are. If you want them - tell me.

have immediately ran into another random puzzle. Setting Signal Cabinet...got signal lite numbers DT-684
..in Guide for page Great Western Rail there is no 684. WT..you say open Western Rail and look for these
numbers..how will I find patterns to use..makes no sense but I did all patterns on Great Western Rail page..

There should be 684 in that book. Please check again - Great Western Railway.

Chuck, you've found a glitch in the game. Instead of DT 684 try DT 634 instead, that should work for you.

Hi Rushes..got my games mixed up..trying to play four off and on. Game I was referring to was the new ND game. Trouble right now with the DT-634..
can't get patterns so far..let you know..only hope that glitch didn't include Western Rail being wrong railroad in book..thanks, Chuck..

Make sure that you're clicking on the highlighted squares, rather than the dark pattern.

Also double check that you selected E on the top part of the panel, for Dowerton.

6813 is just a bonus item after reading this number in the newspaper, it isn't necessary to get this in order to complete the game.

To get a response to 4535 you need to have completed the bone puzzle correctly, i.e. seen the number 4535 clearly depicted by the bones on the buffet table. You might need to replay this part to be sure. You should have 5 bones in inventory in addition to the 10 which are already in the shaker can.

day room 1E..heard train. I cannot sit on the
chair by leech and need to place things on whereever the alter might be..Gloria sits on
next chair,etc...any idea why can't sit on

Chuck,

When you face the wall with the window on your left and door on your right - see boxes by right wall.
That is where you click to sit on. The chair is non-descript and dark by wall.
