I think Big Fish should put another game out when they have these Standard Editions released, because all those who bought the Collector's Edition won't be buying this one, and therefore, don't have a game of the day.

Just a thought.

I thought the same thing, Flo. It's always a disappointment when you already have that game. frown

While I understand that it can be something of a letdown when the standard version of a game pops up as the TGT and you already have the CE, I do hear my wallet heaving a sigh of relief. grin I also see it as an opportunity to finish up an unplayed game or replay an old favorite. wave

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm having a great time playing Haunted Legends: The Queen of Spades! I'm just always looking forward to another game. I have some punch card credits and game credits to use up. That's what happens when you buy the Collector's Editions. lol

I too have noticed this phenomenon. grin

Anyway, whether playing the CE or the standard version of Hound of the Baskervilles, it's a fabulous game, and great value for money! bravo

I agree I loved Sherlock Holmes and Hounds of Baskervilles, I think it is favorite next to Dire CE. However today I wanted to buy a game from BF and can't because its the game I own. BFG Guy PLEASE will you give those who buy CE another alternative when you just put the standard version for a game of the day. Thanks lets hope he will hear this message from all of us.

Hi, Ana!

I bought the CE and it's a wonderful game.

THE GAME & THE BOOK.... I agree this is a very good game. Many of the games taken from old "classics" prompt me to read the original. In the case the Sir Authur Conan Doyal Sherlock Holmes novel by the same name (free on the Kindle). This book is an excellent story and fun to read. Does the game reflect the original story?..... well.....not really!!! Not that it matters. I plan on playing Phantom of the Opera next and then will probably read the original book as well.

I've said this before but I think that it bears repeating. The extra content in this game was wonderful. It was like another mini story. Most CEs just give you extra gameplay like more rooms, but Hound of the Baskervilles gave you something else to solve. I would buy more CEs if extra gameplay was like this.

I never purchase CE's. The regular game kept crashing on me so I'd have to do entire chapters over, but I finally finished it.

Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Hey y'all...I am reading a book called The Sherlockian and so far I love it. In it it states that Doyle kills off Sherlock Holmes (which people in England denounced him publically for killing their favorite "person") and then years later revives him and wrote The Hound of the Baskervilles. Said that Sherlock faked his death in order to hide from his arch nemesis and hid in Europe. Just thought I would throw this in as an aside to a game that I thought was a great CE as the added content was well worth it.

I am playing the trial version of this game and am having trouble with the cursor. It seems to "float" a little and seems really loose, if that makes sense? I have a new computer so don't know if that is causing it but I am playing another game and the cursor is normal. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe that is the way that the game is supposed to be. Just wondering because it is taking away from my enjoyment of it.

Gatsby, I didn't have that problem at all. I hope you can figure out the cause. wave12
