There are a few coffins in the game, are you on this one?

Maybe there are others things needed to be done first. Have you checked the walkthrough to see if you maybe missed something to trigger this?

Marian: I purchased the game 4 days ago so I think it is the updated version. I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. That didn't help.
Ana: I have read the walkthrough again. I don't see anything that I have missed that would trigger leting the hammer remove the coffin lid.
The walkthrough says "Open the coffin lid in the upper left by hitting it with the hammer 3 times. Zoom into the skelton that falls out of the coffin. Grab the T-shap from the hand by using the screwdriver. I have the screwdriver in inventory. Baffled.
I found an article in the BFG forum. 13th skull ce problem with coffin. They say it is a glitch from an eariler version. solution start over under new profile or uninstall, reinstall. I just uninstalled and reinstalled again. still can't get lid off with hammer. I have 15 enjoyable hours into this game. I'm going to go nuts if I start over and get to the coffin and have same problem again. I must be playing the newest version that I purchased on 12-21-2010. BFG tech. support closed for holidays.

Chick, you are right that some people did experience a glitch in the game with the coffin and the hammer at this point, and it does indeed sound like you might need to start over with a new profile with your updated version of the game. Live Chat is closed until Monday, as you said, although you can still send CS an email. I'm really hoping you aren't experiencing this glitch, but it certainly doesn't sound good. I can't think of anything else to suggest, unfortunately. frown12

I did it! I finally found all ten gold insignias. That one with the fountain was hard, but I finally got it figured out. Very tricky to line up the coins just right. Very interesting clues in the chest. Wonder if the next game goes back to Ravenhearst and Victor.

Does anyone know when the game disk will be available in stores/amazon.com, etc.?

I'm not finding any info on this, but I notice that the boxed Dire Grove was released about three months after the download version, so maybe the timeframe will be similar for 13th Skull?

Thanks Marian. I am still in the Dark Ages with my dial up ISP.My husband who is retired never uses the internet so he doesn't understand my need for a more expensive(and it is!) internet server. This game file is too large.I usually buy the back up disk but unfortunately there is none available for this one. In my next life I will have cable or satillite internet! snicker

Can anybody tell me what the clues you find from collecting the insignias MEAN?

I'm stumped.

I don't remember clues from the gold insignias but I did not find them all. Hopefully someone else will remember it.

Click to reveal..
The clue from the gold insignias seems to indicate that Crown's daughter was sent somewhere safe. I think it could be related to Ravenhearst as the ending there left it open for another sequel.

Loving this game but I have a big problem.I'm trying to obtain map piecesmthought I had them all but when I went to unscrew sidepiece on piano,it wouldn't work.Went back to pictures, the one at the top of the staircase,I worked earlier, don't remember map pieces then and now that it is already,I can't get the map pieces,I guess that's why the piano won't unscrew for me. Help,I don't have to start over,do I? Thanks for any help, hope this isn't too confusing.

Has anyone finished this game? Having trouble with last scene. All skulls in place and light up but nothing is happening, the wt goes straight to the bonus game. The game says 'no hints' for last puzzle, guess everyone gets it,I probably has some little thing wrong but have gone over it many times. Thanks, guys.

When the skulls are placed correctly, the game proceeds with a video. The placement of the skulls is random and changes with each game--maybe you need to rearrange the skulls? You've unlocked the chest and found the paper, right?

I don't have any experience with this part of the game, but hopefully someone else can help you more. wave

Well,Marian,I did it again. Instead of using the wt,went back to game's case notes and used those figures which worked right away.I also tried Gamezebo wt and that didn't work either, just your case notes work. Duh. As I said you guys are magic. Loved this game. Thanks.
