I've checked all the posts in reference to this game but didn't see where anyone had a problem similar to mine.

Admittedly I may have missed something but I'm unable to use the oil-soaked reeds on the carving.

I've checked all three walkthroughs and, as far as I know, I've done everything prior to this action and I should be able to use the reeds on the carving.

Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Robert,

Dive back into the lagoon and be sure to both left and right click on the recess in the middle of the large gate you see there. Fenton will comment. Then swim back up to the surface and try the reeds again.

I had a similar problem with yours. After spending a ridiculous amount of time clicking on that rock, I just reloaded my last save (which was right after dealing with the tiger), and everything worked as a charm!! If what Rushes told you doesn't work, just upload your previous save!

I thought I had to right and left click the carving on the shore.
