When does max mana increase? I'm playing a mage, and tried adding attribute points to Intelligence. The max mana didn't increase when I added the attribute points. There's one or two things I need to check on but I have the feeling I'm missing something blindingly obvious here.

Hi ya Kicka,

According to the forum at Larian,
Quote:

A much greater influence due to class is the way secondary characteristics are calculated. There are a couple stats which are generic; everyone gets 20 weight per strength point and 300 stamina per constitution point. Other secondary stats are calculated as follows:

mana per intelligence point

Warrior gets 3
Survivor gets 4
Wizard gets 6

This is a great website for DD info. I found the maps and the info & tutorial lists particularly helpful.

There are also many threads on DD in the GB archives under RPG.

I loved this game, but it's been too long since I played it to remember particulars of how things work.

I do remember that you don't want to lose your pyramid stones and that in spite of the fact you get invited to the Castle fairly early, you really don't want to go there til you've done everything else you can.

I hope this helps. luck and let us know what you think.

Thanks L4L, I'll check out those links!

Don't laugh but the problem I was having was that the Stats window was positioned such that the bottom of it (including the confirm changes button) was under the main menu at the base of the game screen. So I couldn't see or click the button to apply my changes.

Moving the Stats window out solved my immediate problem!

I'm glad you figured it out. I have had many such problems. Have fun!
