Not Ankh.
Clue#4
I was named by April. The game I first appeared in topped the list in 2003-4 and is now in our Hall of Fame.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Thanks, chrissie. You know, I don't think I'd have gotten that if the 'shop assistant' hadn't annoyed me as much as she did Darren. <g>

Way to go Venus! One clue is all you need. I loved Grim Fandango. Manny and Glottis made quite a team. I always hoped that they would do a GF sequel.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Traveler, which of us was sprouted? If it was me, I must get my liquid nitrogen. Space Quest, I practically have that game memorized. It is one of my six favorites. Yes, I actually have roughly six favorites because I'm crazy. There are a definite top two, though. Yes, I can understand wanting a sequel, although I thought Grim ended just perfectly as it was. Okay, onto the clue. Clue 1: Great, locked inside a museum! Some welcoming committee.

Venus,
This is a total stab in the dark and it has been a long time since I played it but my guess is Indiana Jones: The Fate of Atlantis?
If Grim Fandango is one of them what are your other games in your top five? Which are your top two? My top game is Gabriel Knight 2 The Beast Within followed by the Longest Journey, Monkey Island 2&3 and Discworld 1&2.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

"Traveler, which of us was sprouted?"
Me, of course. <g> If I ever try to sneak Grim in again I'm going to put a notice up that you're not allowed to guess.
As for your clue, I am, at present, scratching my head.
Gil.

Space Quest, my other favorites are Culpa Innata (love that weird "utopian" world and the fact that it feels very immersive, as though you are living Phoenix's life), The Longest Journey and the Gabriel Knights. I tend to favor games where it feels as though I am immersed in the story and the charcter's life. Which is why Culpa and TLJ are my top two. And of course, the GKs and Grim all have excellent writing/plots/characters, which is why they are all fighting to be my favorite. Traveler, okay, but then everyone will know what it is anyway. Sorry, Space Quest and niteowl, neither is the right game so far. Okay, clue 2: Why is this creature I just met so "friendly" with me? I'll just be over here.

I am lost. If Mad didn't get it with Memento Mori, how about Clue #4?
It's not the years honey, it's the mileage!

Sorry, Mad, not Memento Mori. Okay, Clue 4: If I can somehow set this thing up correctly, perhaps I can get this robot to help me with some heavy issues.
