Installed to PC running Windows 7. Installed fine. I can see the background images in the game but the people are all blacked-out.
Any suggestions.

There is a patch for it (under the name:Broken Sword 4: Angel of Death patch 1.1) but I don't know if that will solve your problem:

And there are a couple of other workarounds that talk about either playing with the Bios and other stuff, will leave that to other experts if they wish to go there.

Good luck
Ray

What is your video card? The game (US version) indicates a 128MB, Shader 1.1 capable card required.

It is an ASUS desktop x64-based PC.
Intel CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz
6 GB RAM
Video Card: an Intel HD Graphics (Core i5).
Adapter RAM (1,367,838,720) bytes

I told the kid at Best Buy when I bought this new computer that I wanted something to play games (nothing high-end) and that I did not want to have to go out and spend more money on a video card. He assured me this computer would do fine.

I've had this game for a few years and couldn't play it on the old XP system. I was hoping to be able to play it on my new computer. I'm not much on fiddling around with settings and such.

Did I get screwed? Am I going to have to get a video card anyway.

Thanks in Advance,
Micki

Micki,

Far as I can tell by trying to look at specs of your chip on the Internet, your on-board video should be fine.

Could be the game is not current enough to handle your chip. Could be there is some adjustment that could be made with your video driver to accommodate the game.
I just don't have that information but perhaps someone else here will.

Thanks Robert for the responses. I will try looking into the video driver. I had a couple other games that wouldn't work with XP but have played fine on the new PC.

I'll just have to keep trying.

Micki
