Well I finished this game and overall I really liked it. I wasn't too pleased with chapter 8 running through several mazes got a little tedious and I used the Youtube walkthrough on a step by step basis to get through.

I thought the storyline was great and so Jane Jensen. The music was perfect for the game and doing the magic tricks was a nice touch once I figured them out.

The Graphics were less than I expected from a Jane Jensen game but not so bad that it detracted from my enjoyment. The cut scenes were basically art drawings where one would expect FMV from Jane Jensen.

Overall I enjoyed this game immensely.

I thought the music was perfect also....I know it is Jane's husband that composes the music for her games....I was wondering if he also did the music for "Outcry" as it is remeniscent of that type of music?

oldman: Am considering buying this one. Also waiting for "Black Mirror 2" to ship from Amazon. What other games of this genre have you enjoyed? My favorite thus far has been "Lost Crown". Didn't care for "Rhiannon: Curse of the 4 Branches". I found it way too difficult. Not intuitive enough for me. Just hoping to get some help with deciding whether "Gray Matter" is for me.

Sparkle one that I just finished that I really enjoyed is Alter Ego. It is dark and mysterious like Gray Matter however it has an unusual ending.

I'm now playing Treasure Island and like it as well.

Oh no, I hate mazes and have no sense of direction. I still get lost in a Guild Wars mission I've played half a dozen times (I have lots of characters).

It seems to me that every game that was made by Future Games has some sort of an unusual ending - Black Mirror, NiBiRu, Alter Ego, etc. crazy

I am not a maze fan but I am such a fan of Jane Jensen that this is a must have for me.

I'm not a great fan of mazes but the one in Gray Matter is a particularly interesting one and it would help a lot to make notes! (I didn't & wish I had!) grin

I agree with Space Quest also- the maze in Chapter 8 was not my cup of tea, but the rest of the game was solid. The maze was tedious to get through, but it was 'do-able' (is that a word?). think

I am playing the Demo, I normally adjust the sound so the music plays not loud. The Demos has the feature for adjusting sounds, however even if I put the music volume it completely to the left it doesn't change the volume at all and covers the dialog. Is it the same in the play? I am planning to buy it as soon as it is available, the 22nd, I believe.

Mcc -- in my full version of the game, adjusting the music volume slider does affect the sound volume -- you can adjust it down to zero and here no music at all if you wish.

Thanks, oldman....

For some reason after playing the demo this game did not grab me like Tale of A Hero...

For me <Grafics> are everything,...This is 2011 I am hoping that the Big Game developers Start using better game developing engines...Cause they want enough money as it is......We should expect better graphics, and that goes for independent developers also...

This is my opinion...So please don't beat me up on what you think... grin
