If you liked the first Mishap game, it's pretty much guaranteed that you will like this one too. I have played 30 minutes of the demo and it's every bit as enjoyable as the first game. Lots of fun! smile

I loved it apart from the horrible space invaders bit which I could not skip. Sigh.

Apparently the little mini-games can be skipped after one round (there are, I believe, five rounds total in each mini-game). wave

Some games are 5 rounds, some are 3. And yes, you can skip them after one round.

Thank you, Ana! Of all people, you are qualified to speak about this game! thumbsup

(I'd love to know if you ever had to use the hints). grin

I "usually" only use hints to see what kind of info they provide or to time how long they take to refill etc. so I can put it in the guide. I try to play with no help or I may miss a clue you need to include in the walkthrough by going straight to something that you should not have known about.

I will say for this game, the mini game directions built into the game are useless and I can't even begin to tell you how long it took me to figure out the strategies on a couple. They were headbangers and left me stressed! lol

Ah, that makes a lot of sense about the hints. smile Some of the objects in this game are very tricky to locate (for me, anyway). I've only seen the first mini-game so far, but now forewarned is forearmed! lol

Truth is I am no longer a fan of HOG scenes and the way I do them is to never look at the list and just click on everything. oops If it goes away, I'm happy. I may look at the list when I get down to a couple left.

I am so glad to find that I am not the only one who clicks everything then looks at the list to see what I missed. Of course the down side is the blasted curser going crazy at times. I find that if I click slower it seems to go crazy less.

lol I try and figure ways to get around the cursor going bonkers too. I've just reached my saturation point on HOG scenes, I don't find them a challenge or entertaining anymore. THe only ones I like are find 20 stars or things along that line.

Only played about ten minutes of the demo..... Is this game purely a HOG?

There are rebus-like riddles you have to solve at various points in the game too, right, Ana? smile

You are correct Marian. If you make it through one chapter in the allotted time for the demo which should be doable, you can get a feel of the entire game because each of the 8 chapters are the same routine except a different arcade game on each one. If you do not care for the 1st chapter you will not like the rest either.

I hate saying this (HOG developers please close your ears) but pure HOGs simply bore me to tears nowadays. Once upon a time I loved them, but IHOGs have spoilt that for me now sleep

I heard how great this game was supposed to be, so bought Accidental and played it first. FUN!! Still have 1 gold trophy to win on that one, but that's ok.

ANYWAY..... I'm having some real trouble with the mini-games, specifically the last one... already checked out the w/t.... the only advice it didn't explain was how to pick up and put down the instruments, especially if you take the wrong one... I've lost precious time because I'm just not doing it right, and can't get past bronze!!

Please Help!!!

Thanks in advance!
