Is an Intel Core i5 fast enough to run any adventure game?
My friend is looking at a Dell i7 2600 processor but I'm wondering if that is overkill for him since he does not play 3-D shoot em ups but just standard adventure games.
Thanks.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Thanks Jenny. I'm sure that will save him some money. What amoumt of MB should the video card have?

The majority of today's newer cards are equipped with at least 1 GB of ram, which is well above the suggested requirements for most Adventure games.

Get the best you can afford, and avoid the entry level models.

The extra video memory doesn't help much if the card is too slow.

The ATI Radeon HD 5770 should be fine.
Isn't that what he was interested in?

Yes it is Jenny. I just didn't know if you had a video card that you thought would be better than the ATI. Thanks for your help. I'll tell him that one will work fine for him. thanks
