A question. I'd like to uninstall my BFG games from 1 PC to another PC. The question: does the PC that has the BFG games need to be connected to internet? Is that the only way BFG will recognize that the games are uninstalled and allow me to reinstall in another PC that IS connected to Internet? I had to unplug my PC last night and am awaiting for internet dude to come and fix modem #1. I have another PC connected to another modem. It's running fine but I can only get 1 signal even tho I have 2 modems ($$$ too much for 2 signals and wireless hard to set up cos of signal problems) The PC that's unplugged has all the games and I'd like to move them to PC #2 , so ? If I have to I can plug in PC1 to working modem but do I HAVE to?

YOu need to activate them if they are downloads so you can plug the internet in, and then disconnect it. You do not need multiple modems, just one and one router and then network your computers. We have 6 computers connected to one modem and a wireless router. I am going to move you to glitches for more help. Ana

A question. I'd like to uninstall my BFG games from 1 PC to another PC. The question: does the PC that has the BFG games need to be connected to internet? Like Ana said, you'll need the computer to be connected to the Internet in order to activate the games. And you'll need the Big Fish Game Client to be installed in order to activate them, and that will probably have to be downloaded from the Internet. However unlike adventure games, Big Fish games often work simply by copying the game folders to an external drive and moving them to the other computer without having to download them from the Internet. All you need is the few seconds it takes to activate each of them. I had to unplug my PC last night and am awaiting for internet dude to come and fix modem #1. I have another PC connected to another modem. It's running fine but I can only get 1 signal even tho I have 2 modems ($$$ too much for 2 signals and wireless hard to set up cos of signal problems) You don't need two modems to get two signals. You need only one modem, and you can use two wireless routers set to different channels (5 channels apart) to get two signals. I suggest using Channel 6 and Channel 11 because most wireless routers are set to Channel 1 by default and you're more apt to have interference from a neighbor's signal if you use Channel 1.

O WOW thanks for that 2 wireless routers set to different channels, 5 channels apart. Try channel 6 and 11 Ok got it the homes are close together and my PC room is squishy. It use to be a pantry closet I've only had 1 modem working. The other was just a "spare" basic cablebox/modem "thingie" When the main modem died, they sent a signal to the other modem for me until I get modem #1 fixed ok waiting for cable person

Hi bisbet, I've just changed computers. I uninstalled all of my BF games from the old one & just went into my purchase history at BF & the option is there to install every single game that you've ever bought, if you want to, onto a different computer. N.B. With your same email & password. I'm not sure that you even have to uninstall them first from another computer on the same email address?
EDIT: I just read your post again Jenny100 - that looks a lot quicker!

I'm not sure that you even have to uninstall them first from another computer on the same email address? You don't have to uninstall from the old computer with Big Fish games. They'll activate just fine on your second computer without uninstalling from the old computer. I just read your post again Jenny100 - that looks a lot quicker! It's quicker when it works. You do need the Big Fish Client installed in order to activate though. Otherwise the game probably won't even start.

I just bought this one Linksys E3000 because I was having troule with the old Belkin keeping up with all the machines. This is a two story 2000 sq ft house and the signal wasn't cutting it with one desktop, two laptops, one netbook, one Xbox 360 live, one ITouch, 3 IPhones, upstairs kept timing out on XBox particularly. This was super easy to set up, I bought mine at Walmart for less than the website. I am not sure if it would reach through two separate homes though, they do have a new one, the E4200 but it wasn't available over here. They are both dual band.
What kind of magic spell to use?

WAIT I don't have to uninstall? Nope. You can have your games on both your computers, though you may want to uninstall the ones you don't care for so much anyway. Just ACTIVATE?!?!?! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with the new game manager. It does work with games that have already been activated on the target computer (in other words if you activated them on that computer, then uninstalled them, then decided you wanted them back). I tried moving an activated game from my XP computer to my Vista laptop and it starts OK. But it changes to the demo version, only without the option to activate, which is no good for games you want to keep. So I guess you'll have to re-download them to install them when you're doing it for the first time on that computer.
