I don't suppose there's any way to re-bind the game's E key control for accepting your VATS targeting, is there? I'm using the cursor keys for movement instead of the default WASD keys, and using Pad 0 to enter VATS mode, so I'd like to bind "accept targeting" to Pad + or Pad - if possible, but it seems like that's one of the controls you can't change. It's just annoying to keep having to cross my hands on the keyboard like I'm playing the piano.

Hi Sig, I haven't been able to find an answer to your question but hopefully someone playing will be able to help.

Hi, Ana. Thanks for replying, anyway. I'm pretty sure that control is unchangeable--a look inside the game's INI file just seems to confirm that. But how 'bout this issue, which is even worse?...In-game, there's over an inch on the right side of my screen that's black, and that same width is off-screen at the left, as if the entire game view is off-center by that much. What's causin' THAT? I'm playing it with a trainer, of course, but that wouldn't be it. This all might be academic, anyway, cuz the game's crashing on me like Fallout 3 did, and will likely be joining that one in a landfill sometime soon.

Sig, have you asked over in Glitches? Sounds like a video driver issue to me....but I'm so untechy it's not funny.

Thanks, L4L, but I'm gonna call it quits on this game. From web-checking on it, there are so many possible causes of glitches with this game, it's not funny. Saw one poster saying that we need a Lemon Law for PC games and I agree, since the developers can't be trusted to do their own quality assurance. Have another copy of The Chosen: Well of Souls coming, which'll be my 3rd attempt at making it through that game. Maybe if I fully explore every sector I'll find the statues you need to destroy to eradicate the etheroid barriers that give you a scripted death if you try to run through them. It's worth a shot, anyway.
