I just have a little question about updating a graphics card:does it put obstacles to play old games or games already downloaded in my pc? I want to take the occasion to thank the ones who helped me resolve the problem with the "Baron Wittard" game. I've updated my graphics card and all is well now. Sali

Not usually. Not with modern cards anyway. You may have to find the right drivers for certain games though.

Over 10 years ago there was sometimes a problem with games that used undocumented VESA modes that weren't supported in newer video cards -- games like Angel Devoid. Nowadays you play Angel Devoid in DOSBox and for Windows games it's mostly a matter of finding the right drivers for a particular game.

thanks Jenny for your answer.I'm more secure now to play my old games even if I know that my old game "Aztech" can't be played any more. Sali

I have Ángel Devoid and for some reason I have never been able to play this game - even in Dosbox. And I have tried almost everything.

Maybe you need to apply the patch (see DOSBox page below) -

Angel Devoid: Face of the Enemy - Mindscape Inc. (1996)

Maybe - I'll try again, then. Thank you.

I also didn't try to play Angel Devoid with an ATI Radeon card.
I'll try it sometime. Thanks again smile
