Hi, I am replaying Max Payne and used the cheat "god mode" to get through the maze of explosions and fires. I am trying to get out of god mode and I can't. To get out you type "Mortal" and the god mode should disengage but it doesn't. I have tried over and over but the game is stuck in god mode. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you get out of god mode? I refuse to play the rest of the game this way.
If I knew the game gives you the option to save your saves upon uninstalling the game I would give this option a shot but I am not sure the game offers that option upon uninstall.

Ana, I did what it says to do and it worked when I typed in 'god' for god mode. But when I went to get out of god mode by typing the command "mortal" it would not disengage god mode. SO my game is stuck in god mode.

Are you sure you just aren't that good and you are just playing really really well?  I assume you closed the game and restarted it? I know in all the games I ever played you had to type god mode in each time you play. Ana

No nothing worked. the game was stuck in god mode so I uninstalled it. I did not want to start over.
