I just got a fake spam email from a site wanting me to sign up for the Guildwars 2 newsletter, saying someone had submitted my name. Since I've never given my name to them, nor do any of my friends online have my email, I'm sure this is a fake. You might want to be careful and not click on it if you get it.

I had this problem all the time with World of Warcraft spam emails, although with them I played the game.

Guy, I'm sure you're reading this, so if you know who on the Guildwars Team I could forward it to, I'd appreciate it.

Sounds fake to me. The real one you'd have to go to the website and sign up.

Thanks, Guy. None of the addresses are to report spam, though, so I guess I'll just delete the email. It's definitely a fake - complete with a link to click on.
