Hi I just finished "Conspiracies 2" and I loved it.

I was just wondering I anyone knew of any newly released or upcoming FMV games.

I recently played the fantastic "Darkstar", and have played the new "Mystery Case Files", and the "Casebook" games with the wife, I am a sucker for anything with FMV in it.

I have also played pretty much every one released in the past, so I am looking for something new.

Currently I am playing "Realms of the Haunting" one of the few that I missed from years ago, it was just released on GOG.

Any recommendations would be nice.

Besides Yoomurjak's Ring I think you may have played them all. Personally even though I too am a big fan of FMV I didn't try Yoomurjak's Ring as the game is spoken in Hungarian with only subtitles in English. I encourage you to try the demo as many others really liked it. Me, I couldn't keep up with the subtitles as they went by faster that I could read and absorb. The FMV looks great though. Slim pickens for the futures of the FMV games I am sorry to say my friend. Hopefully somebody will have something that may have even missed me.

I enjoyed Yoomerjaks ring quite a bit, but subtitles don't bother me.

Bonedust-

Here's a link that someone provided on an earlier thread. As you had mentioned, there are not a lot of recent FMV games being produced, but I'm sure this list is not a complete one. I know I liked the Tex Murphy series, but you've probably already played those.

That is a very good list Ewil02. Upon initially scanning the list I don't see the older released Time Warrior: The Armageddon Device 1998 which is an older independent release. First person exploration, cheesy Sci-Fi similar too Darkstar. I actually played it on XP with no problems. Not too easy to find.

I can't say that I've ever heard of the Time Warrior game, GreyFuss. I'll have to check it out one of these days. If it was like Darkstar, I'm sure I'd like it. The list didn't have the two games I recently played either- The Santa Fe Mysteries (Elk Moon Murder and Sacred Ground). They came out in the late 90's also. It looks like the 90's was the decade for FMV. I was interested to see the two Mystery Case Files on the list- Dire Grove and 13th Skull. I hope it's a trend that will continue. I thought the FMV portion of those games helped to make those games more interesting than the usual casual games.

You are right Ewil02 I forgot about the 2 Santa Fe Mysteries games. I am sure there are a couple more I forgot too.
