ok,i'm an idiot - can someone tell me how to print a page with vista ? i'm trying to print an attachment ,but i can't seem to get the printer to print it - it only wants to print the page with the e - mail....
thanks in advance....

Join the crowd, niteowl!! I'm right there with you a lot of the time. There are a couple of ways to do this depending on what type of file it is. First right click on the attachment and select "Open." If it's a photo, you may be able to right click on the opened file and select "print" from the drop-down menu. I use the built-in Photo Viewer and there is an option to "Print" at the top of the screen.

If it's a document or a spreadsheet and you right click and select "open," it should open in the correct program (such as Word) and you can print from within the program.

oi vey , drac !

i finally got it to print by opening it , hitting print , and then using the format feature to crop the page headings rolleyes

i'm sure your way might have been a bit tidier to begin with !

we did finally solve the issue ,but we'll try word next time - thank you so much praise
