Has anyone played Portal 1 or 2? Researched a bit on Amazon and: Portal 1 is 99$ new. Wow!! They look like alot of fun as they have puzzles that appear -difficult- and have action. Was thinking maybe I'm not smart enough to start Portal 2 even.

Yankee, it's a great game. I have watched the kids play it and it's fascinating even to watch. For 99 cens you can't go wrong.

That's $99 not 99 cents! I wonder why it's priced so high. I just checked it out and Portal 1 is more expensive than Portal 2 on Amazon.

Portal 1 is available as part of The Orange Box (Half Life 2 etc) and should be a lot cheaper than $99 that way. I suspect that it is probably also available as a download from Valve/Steam.
A great little game and in a genre of its own!

I have the Orange Box, I played some of Portal 1 but after a while I didn't enjoy it anymore. The rest of the Box I found excellent.

Thank you all for the input. $99.00 for Portal 1, new, is kinda high - wish I'd kept all my older games. The Orange Box deal sounds good - that game's been around for awhile too. That's what I'll buy. Gosh darn, kitty's helping me type Also G Darn, so many other gmes around the house too. Like, "I'm over here"
