I was going through some of my older gams and came across this one which happens to be one of my all time favorites. I installed it and it started running but crashed to the desktop at the end of the first cutscene when Lewton was killed. Is there a patch or any way I can get this game to run? Thanks in advance. Inland, Jenny, Inferno, anybody have an answer to this? I'd really like to play this one again if possible.

Barry

Have you tried compatibility mode? Right click the game icon, select troubleshoot compatibility and follow the prompts.

Inland does VPC take up alot of Ram and Drive space to use? Also if I use '98 do I have to install all the drivers or does VPC take care of that?

VPC itself doesn't take up much RAM, but you have to add the RAM you've alloted to your virtual machine. Windows 98 will run quite happily on 64 MB though, and Discworld Noir only requires Windows 95/98 with 32 MB, which is a lot less than modern operating systems have. So unless your computer is incredibly short on RAM you have nothing to worry about.

Windows 98 takes care of most of it. VPC emulates hardware that Windows 98 has the drivers for.
