How can I go about making it look nice and decorate it, I haven't played Oblivion for a while and I do have some scrolls in my inventory to do with home decorating but I think they were used on a different house elsewhere ...

Each house has a set of decorating scrolls that you can buy from a local merchant.

I don't know how to ask this without giving anything away, but, um, you have cleaned out the house already, yes? The undesirables in the basement?

If so, one of the local merchants will have everything you need.

If not not, get out your witches' broom.

Hi Vegpot,

Once you've dealt with the gribbly in the basement, the old stuff should deal with itself.

And you cast scrolls like you cast spells. Go to your spell page and the scrolls will show up there. Put the desired scroll in your spell slot by clicking on it, and voila, you can now cast it.
