I'm so angry at myself for buying this without reading up on it first. All it is is shooting and running around. I played a few of the first games years ago and assumed it would be like those, but it's not. Im not fast enough at the shooting to get the bad guys. Grrrrrr. I just needed to vent. I got this with a gift card too.

Hi JeanK, I haven't played any of the Harry Potter games, but I know how frustrating it is to buy a game and realize after the fact that it isn't what you'd hoped it would be. I always tell myself that I won't rush out and buy games without researching them first, but I almost never follow my own advice.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

JeanK, Are you prepared to cheat at least for a while? That could help you to get going.
There was a time a needed to cheat with almost every action game I played, now I can play any game as long as I choose Easy and many times I can handle more difficult options. Looking at video WTs helps a lot to pass certain parts.

I agree with mcc - go for the cheats! They will help you get used to the techniques you need to play the game. Many times it's not speed so much as it's learning the action parts of the game. Perhaps you will even get to like the action games!

I used to be able to play action games. Well, somewhat. I'm great at MMORPGs, but straight action is something else. Especially when from the get-go you have 5 mobs on you at once! I would love to use cheats for this game. Do any of you know where I can find some good ones? I'm on my way out, so I guess I could do a search online when I get back. Thanks all!

There are some codes HERE. Just click on the word CODES in the right hand column. It also depends on what system your playing the game on. PC or Console.

Thanks, Cathy! I'll check it out. I kindof got sidetracked today. Edit. Hummm. It just says to go into the options menu, click unlock menu and gives some cheats, but doesn't say how to use them. Have you used them? I'm looking at the codes for PC. I'll have to look at the game tomorrow. I'm way too tired to mess with it tonight.

Hi Looney:
Not yet. I got sidetracked today with real life things. lol. I'll for sure try tomorrow. I have to be wide awake when I try these things or I get too frustrated.

Tried using cheats and died anyway, so this game gets uninstalled. Life is too short to be frustrated by a game.
Thanks all for your suggestions.
