I had to blank my hard drive the other day due to a virus. The tech who installed Win 7 for me partitioned the hard drive so I have 100mb reserved. 232mb on 1 partition and 232mb on the other.
As I only have Win 7 upgrade I installed Vista to start with and chose one of the partitions with 232mb to install in. All is okay but only one partition shows up on 'My computer' (232mb)plus the one with 100mb. Ideally I would like just one partition as I only intend to use the one O/S.
Does anyone know why the other partition does not show up and is there an easy way to have just one partition?
Thanks in advance for any help... wave

You can use Administrative Tools, Disk Management do delete the unwanted partitions and expand the active one.

Thanks a bunch for the link-I managed to extend the volume after reading instructions. Didn't know that this could be done inside windows. flowers
