For those Canadians who have preordered games from Dave at Interact, he advised me today by email that he will not be shipping any orders to Canada until the postal strike is over. In fact, the US Postal Service stopped accepting packages to Canada today.

Even though I told Dave he could charge my credit card to hold my order, he declined and said he'll wait until my game actually ships. I don't know too many companies that would do that, and it's just one more reason why it is such a pleasure to deal with Interact.

Oh yes! The Canadian postal union began rotating strikes on June 3rd and would hit three or four different cities every 48 hours. Canada Post got fed up, so they locked them all out a couple of days ago. The union just doesn't seem to comprehend the fact that hardly anybody uses the post office anymore, so they're lucky to still be employed.

I just got an e mail from interact today telling me that my Nancy Drew game was shipped on the 17th.
