I think there might be a bug. I'm at the three snake heads and according to the walkthrough I'm meant to have picked up a bowl of oil earlier. I have the bowl but not the oil, and can't go back to where I'm meant to get it.

Hi Wincey, there is a patch available from the LHOD website which does fix an error in the game - not sure whether it's that one?

Since posting that my disc wouldn't work, I
did try it in another PC & was able to transfer the files as you did Darleen (when I realised that a flash drive is the same thing as a memory stick! rolleyes) I'm so pleased that there's no need for billy to send me a replacement disc but thank you billy for offering to do this!

Hi Wincey, welcome to GameBoomers.

Your post will likely be moved across to Hints forum shortly. smile

At which point/location does the game stop you from returning any further to collect the oil? You might be missing the hotspot to exit a scene?

Wincey, Are you saying you can't retrace your steps and go out of the mine? I just tried it and was able to go out and climb up the cliff to get back into the temple to the water pit. Maybe it is a glitch if you can't.

Gil.

I got to the 3 heads puzzle and found out that I didn't have enough coins, and I was able to backtrack and find 2 more coins. I think I had to use the map to jump back and forth to town. There is a deadend where the minecar was that I was able to overcome by using the map.

Ah yes, thankyou! For some reason I thought I came through the cave and there was no hotspot for the cliff when I pressed TAB.
