Hello Boomers..

At the moment I looking through my cracked LCD display of my laptop..it was an accident, my son
sat on it, when I left it on the sofa, and when I turned on my computer, I see it cracked, not the glass but inside of it..I have large crackes all
over the screen, some black and other transparent..

I know this can't be fixed, and I know I have to replace it..I am so unhappy, cause I not able to finish my games..

I would appreciate some trustworthy place where I can buy a new replacement..Installation isn't an issure, I have someone that would do it for me..

I just need a place that I can afford one, and I could trust..any suggestions will be most appreciated..Thanks..Liz

I called cyberpowerpc, and they didn't have it, my computer is 31/2 years old and warranty expired last year..

Laptop LCD's can be replaced, but you'd have to do some shopping to find a service to repair it for you. It may not be worth the expense though.

Did you want to replace the entire laptop, or just the LCD?

I just wanted to replace the LCD..I took apart the LCD and found the manufacturer name and number and did a search on the internet and found the exact one on ebay, brand new,factory sealed for under $100 with free shipping..I just bought it..I made sure it was the exact same one..I even called other places and it was a bit expensive..So I think I got a good deal on it..I could install it myself, there is a video that shows you how and it was very easy to install..

Update..I got the new LCD today, came in 3 days..

I installed it and it is working like a charm..

took me a little time, with the screws, they are so tiny,with my nails..and now I am looking through a new beautiful screen..

I am so happy, now I could finish my game (Black Mirror 3)..

Installing an LCD in a laptop can be tricky.
