Hi, can you please tell me what screen resolution best suits this game. I am running XP with a monitor screen res. of 1980 x. I purchased this game from the Aventure co. and am having trouble on start up. Very slow. The graphics are excellant visually but, the figures are very slow moving or non responsive. It sits and thinks about things when you try to move them on and conversations don't always start when you click on them. Can you please let me know what settings would best suit this game. As far as I know my drivers are up to date. Because I am such a novice I am loath to fiddle with the settings so, I will rely on what you guys work out for me. cheers, Alfoil.

Another query. I purchased belief and betrayal from Adventure Co. and am unable to launch it. It keeps coming up with Set Exe has to close. Have downloaded this darn game about 4 times. Have also downloaded the exe file about the same amount of times. Got no where when I tried to get help from them or from the game producer. How do I fix the exe file? Am I the only one who has problems with games purchased from this site? cheers, Alfoil.

If you're having trouble with Black Mirror II, try running it at a low resolution, like 1024x768. Or try turning down graphics options like antialiasing, filtering, shadows, or whatever "extras" it might list in the Options menu.

The Belief and Betrayal game may be a defective download. You'll have to ask Adventure Company support about what to do. If they have a defective version on their server, it won't matter how many times you download it because it will always be bad. Is it possible that your antivirus is blocking it? Did you install into some place other than C:\Program Files (which is a bad place to install games).

Will try the new resolution. The Adventure Shop (europe) was absolutely no help at all. With theanother problem. They didn't even know that the support site no longer exists. The game developer had no imput at all - they didn't want to know. Back to Black Mirror II, I have printed the 2 photos and each time the second one just vanishes. Is this a glitch? I am not long on patience here as it seems every game I purchase from Adventure has problems. Enough of a rant Jenny I will try the resol. you recommended. Many thanks for your help again. cheers, Alfoil

Hi again, well, no joy. New res.did nothing. My new attempts to do the photography have been a disaster. Now I don't even have one printed snap and I have repeated the process about 4 times. I will try again later. cheers, Alfoil.

Yahoo!! Black Mirror II. Finally the game is running properly and I have to say that I love it.
Have fired off an email to the support crew at Adventure Co Eu, and will be interested to see if I hear back from them regarding Belief and Betrayal. Many thanks again for your help. Don't know what I would do without your help. cheers, Alfoil.

I am having the same problem with Black Mirror II. Very slow running. What did you do between
4:08 am on the 13th when you indicate it wasn't running well and 7:56 the same day to get it to work? I have already tried all of the suggested ways of speeding things up. Must be something I am missing. Thanks.

Vivian,
You might have to PM alfoil.
A lot of people don't check the Glitches forum after they solve their problems, and unfortunately Alfoil gave no clue about what fixed their problem.

You could try and roll back your video drivers.

So sorry that I haven't gotten back to here before this. I changed my screen resolution to the lowest setting and put the anti aliasing as low as possible in the game options setting. If that doesn't work move all the settings to the left. I am playing black mirror 3 and had to do the same thing with it but, I couldn't change the resolution through the game I had to do it through the display settings on my computer. I do hope this helps. cheers, Alfoil.
