My niece has been having problems with this game. She is running it on XP. Don't know her specs.

had Norton run a full system scan and optimize ---did a disk clean up --did a disk defrag--did nothing for my game

did research on the internet----downloaded Wisefixer--it really made the computer run faster and seemed to help the game but now the game is locking up again and says an unkown exceptin has occurred. On wisefixer it keeps showing an infile\shell\open\command file association error. I can run a fix and it goes away but it just comes right back.

Does anyone have a suggestion about this?

Yes, she has uninstalled and reinstalled several times and gets the same thing.

If she has the disc version, there is a patch.

No, I don't think so. I will e-mail her and tell her to look for a patch.

You can find the patch HERE if she has bought the retail cd game. It's in the gray box on the right hand side.

DirectX 8.1 or higher

I couldn't find a working download for the patch either.
If you want the patch, try emailing Mumbo Jumbo at

Let them know their download link isn't working and you need the patch because you're having problems with the game.

I e-mailed my niece and told her to contact Mumbo Jumbo. Haven't heard from her yet.
