Just finishing up my game of Dragon Age, and then we'll see. Does the GOG version of the game use this patch? Anyway, I'll be able to check it out tomorrow.

I thought perhaps if I cleared some space on this machine, that might also help, so I'll take Dragon Age and DA 2 off, and anything else I might have on here. Somehow I've managed to fill up this huge hard drive, through with what I don't know -- Vista hides things so well I don't even know where everything is. I've probably got some mammoth folder full of downloads somewhere on here, tucked away and forgotten.

The GOG version of version 1.3 will have to be downloaded via the GOG site or via the auto-updater.

And have you turned on show hidden files and folder.

Just as FYI:

I have stalker on my machine - the datafiles were located in application data...

Hi Karsten,

There is no GOG patch that will work on my game. None of them install, I just get an error message saying I have an invalid version of the game.

So it's game over for me. I'll see if I can find a copy of the game on disk, and I'm certainly going to think twice before I buy a download of a new release again.

Have you contacted GOG about not being able to install the new patches? They are very good about helping people out.
