Do you have the CD from the printer? If you do, just run it and put it back in.

Do you have the installation disk that came with the printer? If so, just reinstall the software. If you can't find it, you can always download it from the Lexmark website.

I just added a printer to my brothers computer... I went to the Start button.. found devices and printers..clicked on that and clicked add new printer.. it gave a list... I found their printer...model and number... and clicked on it... in your case it would be Lexmark Z1300 it loaded the driver by itself..might give this a try... and I was able to print out the coupon I needed.... hope this helps

Winfrey's method works great if your printer only prints. If it's a multi-function printer, it may need the drivers that came with the printer - more than generic drivers. One of the best things about Windows 7 is it has a pretty good driver database.

I agree with Draclvr, if you have Windows 7 it will find what you need, at least most of the time. If you have XP or Vista (even Win7), I would recommend that you go to your Control Panel, Device manager and Uninstall your printer from there, Reboot your machines and let your Operating system find your machine and your drivers. If all else fails, go to your manufacture’s Web site and find out what you need to do: http://support.lexmark.com/index?locale=...Tab=DOWNLOADS#1
