Just a note to say I have found a gem. Paige Harper and the Tome of Mystery is a charming and unexpected twist on the usual IHOG.

The twist? Rather than presenting a series of scenes clogged with odd things (which has its own appeal), Paige presents the hidden object scenes as if they were in a pop-up book.

And you can look at the scenes from different angles. And, as you would expect, some angles reveal things to be 2-D pop-ups and not truly 3-D.

It is completely disarming. Like looking for things in a model stage set.

It may remind some of the Puzz3D games. It is that delightful.

That's it. Off to play some more.... laugh

There's a review of this game on Gamezebo that talks about how good this game is. Thanks for the heads up; I will definitely put this on my "to-play" list. It sounds (and looks) wonderful. wave

I do not recommend shockwave since it installs unwanted tracking devices, but the game can be found at Spin Top here which is a much better alternative.

How about Amazon? Last time I went to SpinTop I got clipped for $19.99.

Amazon lets you turn off the tracking here so it's okay.

This is all very good news! I remember playing the trial of this game when it first came out. Although I really enjoyed it, the price kept me from purchasing it. happydance

The best math you can learn is how to calculate the future cost of current decisions.

Thank you, Mr.Lipid - Just downloading the demo from Amazon now, but I have the distinct feeling it wont let me buy the game as I am not in U.S.!

Oh, probably not. Unless the U.S. has recently annexed Kenya.

You can, however, get the flavor of the game and, if you like it, download from another site that is not quite so picky about geography.

Well, I have just finished the demo, and like you say, it's a delightful little game with a new slant of all the different room angles. Has anyone played the game all the way through yet?

On the downside with Amazon, you only get a 30 minute trial!

I haven't, but I've peeked at the walkthrough. You get seven chapters in all.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Romeo and Juliet
Treasure Island
Hamlet Prince of Denmark
Ivanhoe
The Three Musketeers
Sherlock Holmes

I am expecting that they will all be great fun! laugh
