Just finished the demo and it's a buy for me. Quite a lot of HO but your not penalized for random clicking. Hints recharge slow. Graphics are really clear.

WHOO HOO!!! No hesitation on my part. I'm in. The "Edgar Allen Poe" games have been terrific.

I really like the game but I feel a little guilty that I had to use the tranquilizer on the dog. he's laying on the ground sleeping. I'm sure he will be allright. He's got the bone laying next to him that I gave him. Poor dog. great game.

Hi, Richard!

I must not be living right because I just finished the demo and was penalized for random clicking in the HO scenes <sniff, sniff>!

I played and loved the first two EAP games but, for some reason, this one just didn't grab me. Maybe it was because there were so many HO scenes or maybe I'm just getting too picky grin ! I may still end up buying it (I'm going to check the BFG forums for the length), but I want to wait until I see what other games are released between now and the end of the month.

can you give me a tip, please - I checked the forum, but didn't find what I needed

I'm near the end of the game, but don't have the letter R to completed the nameplate. I did the puzzle as outlined in the strategy guide, but I guess I didn't pick up the letter at that time - now I can't get back into the puzzle place

aaarrrgghhh - maybe I have to start again from the beginning - help, please

Janice

I'm not seeing anything about this on the Big Fish forum either, and I'm not that far along in the game yet. Hopefully someone else will be able to help. I'll let you know if I find any info about this. wave

so sorry - my mistake - I had the letter R - it was the letter L that was missing - went back a long way to find it

what a game - has anyone ever done this without the strategy guide?

what happened here was that I sometimes bypass puzzles that are too difficult, thinking I'll come back - but then I forget to come back

anyway, now I have all the letters and on my way again

Since I write the strategy guides, I can honestly say I can play them without a guide. lol Most times it's easy, sometimes the puzzles take awhile to write the steps.

I can't seem to locate the "copper valve" needed to tap the wine barrel in the pub....Can anyone tell me where I've missed it?

Gaily, look towards the bottom of page 11 of the strategy guide; this will show you where you find the copper valve.

If you need more help, let us know. wave

I finished the game, released the victom from the Crypt and lived happily everafter. But when I looked at the bonus section. I don't understand what they are offering. Is there an additional chapter? If so how do I access it? I also had to use the guide at times, some of the games offered a challenge and needed a hint to get the brain juices flowing.

Overall I think it is well worth buying. There really is nothing negative I can point out that would be a drawback to the game.

Cherie, I'm reading on the Big Fish forum that the way you access the bonus chapter after you have finished the game is by going to the main menu, clicking on extras, and then clicking on where it says "play" at the very top center. wave
