I just installed Nemesis on my XP, and I'm having problems slowing down the panning.
Does anyone remember how to do this? I mean, other than what's on the menu. They have a place on the menu preferences where you can supposedly slow the panning down, and I've done it, but it still moves as fast as lightning and makes things hard to see.

It's been many, many years since I played this, and I vaguely remember it being a problem back then, too, but I don't remember what I did for it.

I went into setup on the cd and picked Win 95 compatability mode, but it hasn't made a difference.

 Thanks!

I tried the game to and there is no way to slow the panning down. I tried for a long time and nothing worked,so I bought the one on GOG and it worked perfect.I used the cpukiller3 but you can only use it for 19 min. and you have to stop the game. It was a free download. It slowed the panning down but to much of a hassle.

Thanks, Kjos and Jenny. I guess I'll just get it from GOG then. I have too many other things to figure out technology wise with phones and stuff that I don't want to mess with DosBox right now, lol.

A couple of questions for you computer-savvy people please:
1-How do I find what version of Windows I'm running?

2-If I am using Windows 7 or above, can I play Zork Nemsis on it?

 Thank you for your attention.

 Mary

The answer is....chocolate! Who cares what the question is.....
