I asked Anders to move in with me but he still shows up at his clinic. Is this normal? I do keep finding his stuff at my estate though.

At some point in the game he does move into the protagonist's estate, but I think it's after the start of a new chapter.

Anders is so different in DA2 from the witty, devilish Anders you meet in DA:Awakening. I prefer the original. Mind you, I suppose carting around a demon in your head probably changes you.
