I played the beta trial game for this one. It's an allegory, an ambitious blend of Halloween and All Saints Day. To end a near death experience and exit back into normal life, you overcome vices on behalf of souls stuck in a deserted town with an evil snake of mythic proportions and an equally evil supernatural sheriff. The ambience reminded me of that Stephen King novel "Desperation." There were enough adventure elements to keep me playing to the end of the trial, and I'll be buying the game. Of course, I can't speak to whether this is worth the money for a CE or to how well the plot is realized.
Edited to change desolation to desperation although King wrote two versions of the novel for publication using different titles. I don't remember which one is which.

Thanks 8dog, I thought the story was good and keeps you wanting to play to finish. The Bonus Chapter fills in the details of one of the characters so you can see how that person came to be in the predicament they were in, in the main game which to me makes the CE worth it. Ana

I'm having the same problem, as many others. I had the same thing happen yesterday with the helos match 3 game, but went back later in the day and it downloaded without a hitch. If it doesn't download in normal time, just trash it until it gets fixed.
It stopped downloading at 30% both times, so I'll wait awhile to see what happens.
It's obviously a BF problem, I wonder if being the game of the day has anything to do with it, as some have said. But it was still the game of the day yesterday when it finally downloaded fine.
It could be that with so many downloading at the same time, their servers just can't handle it anymore. However, looking at the forum, a lot of them were in different time zones and downloaded when North American traffic would be slow.
Hopefully this won't be a recurring problem with every new game.

The first time that I tried downloading was at 3:30 am. It only got as far as 5%. Then I tried again and got to 90%. It stated that the download timed out. Right now I'm at 89%. So I'll have to see what happens! By the way getting to 90% took about 5 hours on high speed! If everyone waits until tomorrow and it's an overload problem it will do the same thing I guess! Still at 89%! Not looking good at all! I downloaded a different game just to see if it was my computer problem but that game downloaded just fine! I don't get it! 97% now! Hoping...............but it's kind of stuck there Ok it's installing now! And going pretty fast! Done! I'll try the game and get back with you all! Ok! The game is working fine! I guess you can now try to download!

Yes, Richard, I remember well your problems with Heroes of Hellas 3 yesterday. I had problems downloading that too, but it straightened out after a few minutes. I know you have a fast internet connection and I was upgraded to Turbo Power recently with my connection; Customer Support agreed that it's highly unlikely that the problem is with our internet or our computers. Hopefully the problem will be fixed very soon. In the meantime, I look forward to hearing what others think of the game (those of you who have downloaded the game successfully). EDIT: I have now been able to download the game. Give it a try, everyone.

I was just one lone voice in the multitude , but glad it's working for you now, Richard. I've only played about 15 minutes of the demo so far but have enjoyed what I have played.

Same here. Just tried again, and was able to complete download in about 5 mins.
I must say, after just 15 mins. I'm liking this game a lot. Gameplay is very smooth and quick. Text narration is also quick. No need to click or skip in order to move story forward.

Looks like a good game. Your not penalized for over clicking and hints recharge pretty fast. I only played 10 min so far. Quite a few HO. Just about every scene there is a HO. Too many for me. Richard

I had no trouble downloading, but I was very disappointed in the game, story and puzzles. I live in New Mexico and I thought that the story would be new and different from the last dozen games or so that are a car wreck, ghosts, etc. New Mexico celebrates 100 years of being a state next year. What a great story for a game or any of the other stories unique to New Mexico.
